WARNING: YOU ARE ABOUT TO ENTER BAYLEE'S LOCKER.
You ignore the warning and decide to open the locker anyway, using the combination that was supplied to you. It's located in the junior hallway at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts - what a mouthful. It's towards the end of the year, considering next year she'll be a senior. When you open the locker, you're somewhat thankful she hasn't decided to clear out her belongings yet.
There's a few pictures up on the inside of the door, held there by cheap Scotch tape, and you take a minute to look at them. Most teenage girls would probably have pictures of male celebrities or miniature movie posters or something of the like... but Baylee seems to go against that norm (though there is a picture of the boy who took her to junior prom tucked in the corner). The photos are all of pictures of Baylee with two older men... one appears to be her brother, and the other... well, they both look like they're her brothers, the way they seem to be posed. One is a picture of them at a playground, and another is a picture of the three of them after one of her performances. There's even a photograph of a beautiful woman, who looks remarkably like Baylee, that's taped up near the top.
The locked itself is somewhat of a mess. Uh-oh. There's even an unfinished assignment laying on top of the haphazard stack of books. She must have forgotten to take it home. But the lack of books suggests that she's not entirely forgetful, that she must be studying or something else with everything she brought home. There's a test crumpled underneath one of the books: B+, it says. A note from one of her friends stuffed into the back of the locker. A brochure about a college fair tucked in her history book, and a schedule of her dance performances throughout the year held to the side of the locker by a magnet. A sweater's been stuffed in here too - whether it's something she forgot to take home or an article of clothing she keeps in case it gets cold, you don't really have much of an idea.
All in all, it's kind of messy in here. You're not entirely sure what to do when the one of the books slides off the pile and clatters to the floor. Grumbling to yourself, you pick it up, and realize that it's not a textbook. It's a photo album. Realizing that's an odd sort of thing to keep in your locker, you can't help but take a peek inside. More photos. Photos of Baylee and those two young men, many with captions like first dance recital or dmitri being an idiot. Deciding you've meddled enough, you slip the photo album back inside the locker.WARNING: YOU ARE ABOUT TO ENTER BAYLEE'S ROOM.
What is it with these warnings? Geez.
You walk in anyway. It appears to be any simple teenage girl's room. The walls are a pale green, and as you look around, you realize that green has to be her favorite color considering that seems to be the consistent color theme throughout the room. There are a few posters on the wall. Some you can tell are from her childhood - boy bands and the like that just never got taken down. There's a movie poster or two, a poster of a male celebrity above her bed.
