james alistair mckennafordham | twenty five | app about him:
James is the type that seems only care about a few things. Finding his brother is the thing that occupies his mind mostly now a days. Even though he found him, he still has to somehow prove to him that they are brothers and he's not crazy. Though some people in Fordham might disagree with that fact; they think he's lost his mind. Which is why he's in the habit of keeping up a facade. While someone might just think that James is friendly towards them, he could be plotting how to kill the other person in their sleep. He's gotten pretty good at fooling people, but that doesn't mean he can't be trusted. If he keeps you around long enough to form some sort of friendship or relationship, if he's not using you, then he's going to start getting protective.
James doesn't exactly have that much, but at the same time he's never bothered to establish much. He's a problem to the higher ups in Fordham, so they don't really like him. The other spies on his level or lower are just acquaintances or faces he has to put up with; except for Jace. The one guy he decided to befriend, and he stuck. Jace is his best friend, even though James might not show it too often. He's not in a relationship, but that's mostly due to him being so busy and preoccupied. Everyone else has the potential to become his enemy, since he's not the easiest guy to get along with, unless you have something he needs or wants.
Have fun with this guy, because some pretty interesting things could come from him. You've been warned.

welp, there's the entire ex-CIA and fordham things happening, so it's not likely that they'd be anything except for enemies unless they didn't know that the other was from the other organization (which would be a bit cliched but still amusing). still, meg would definitely respect james but still detest him, because from what i could tell, they have similar enough personalities to be friends in another situation. thoughts?

Posting this with my other account because I'm laazzyyy, sorry. James isn't really the type to keep friends around. Unless he has a use for them, that is. If the person's amusing, or he finds that he can relax a bit when talking to them, then yeah, they'll stay. The fact that she's an enemy would intrigue him, too. If he knows that she's an enemy, he'd always be on his guard, but if they met as 'civilians', he would use his time with her to momentarily escape the spy life. =] Up to you~

Sorry, just had this amusing scene in my head: if they were both sitting in a coffee shop or something, both on guard because they know that they're enemies and wondering if the other was going to attack, but pretending to look really relaxed and comfortable to psych the other one out, and whenever James or Meg made a move, the other would jump a little. I'm sorry. I'm tired, that was the only reason that was funny. XD Er, "civilians" would definitely be more plausible.

Ahaha, that would be pretty funny. Neither would want to leave the situation either, because it would look like they were backing down. But yes, 'civilians' and casual friends sounds good to me. =]
