J.T. is complicated. You cannot accurately describe him in one word other than complicated. Some people look at him and think he's just some crazy psychopath. Many people wouldn't pay the slightest bit of attention to him if he wasn't practically a genius with both connections and amazing hacking skills. He can be handful, but deep down he is caring. J.T. can be extremely obnoxious, sarcastic and rude to others, especially if they're not the brightest. He can be condescending and use a sarcastic modesty about somethings such as his hacking abilities. He is funny, irresponsible and can often not take things seriously. He also has a conflicted view of right and wrong as he sees absolutely nothing wrong with robbing ATM's or joy riding in a nice car. Needless to say if you stole his money or took his car he would have a huge problem with it though. He can often appear uncaring and not serious, but J.T. can be extremely caring and serious at times. He cares a lot for the safety of others, especially children even to the point that'd he'd throw a mission in order to help a child in danger. J.T. also hates violent arguing. He grew up with a lot of it around his house and it doesn't bring about the happiest of memories. Contradictorily, at the same time J.T. can often be argumentative. He lives a friendly debate as he calls them. He isn't afraid to show off his brains or his talents. J.T. is also a ladies man. He has great ambition and wishes to one day get a girl and fall in love and the whole nine. Unfortunately he is afraid of commitment. When things get serious with a girl he can often start thinking things through too much and be afraid of messing things up or ruining the relationship.

One moment he could be sitting there bored out of his mind or being extremely lazy, while the next moment he can be ready to go play a game of basketball or have a pool party. He has tried to not let the CIA change him the best he could. The main way he did this was through comedy. He tried to let things roll off his shoulders and be comedic about things as it's how he deals with things. J.T. also has trouble sitting still unless watching television. This is shown especially during breifings or long speeches in which he can't stand. J.T. also likes a good adrenaline rush and lets this out through extreme sports, especially extreme water sports, whenever he gets the chance. He can often be lazy opting to sit around and do nothing. On the other hand when he sets his mind to something there is practically nothing that can stop him. He is also a great mechanic and has an amazing work ethic when it comes to mechanics. He has a deep love for cars and motorcycles. He enjoys it because he can fix things unlike real life where he can't fix things and everything is more complicated. Deep down he has a compassionate and very soft, caring side, but he is afraid of showing it because he is afraid of getting hurt. He's been hurt before, he's been hurt his whole life and he doesn't want to feel that way again. He's seen what things are truly like out there since joining the CIA. He also deeply cares about his family and had unresolved feelings of guilt over his twin brothers supposed death.

He loves the old video games for NES, Genesis, SNES, etc as he grew up with them; however, he can best anyone in Call of Duty. J.T. also enjoys being a prick. He's the kind of guy to go online on Call of Duty go up next to his team and start shooting into the air to give away their position just to hear them yell and scream as he laughs. Of course, in real life he would never do something of the sort. Being that J.T. is more of a tech guy, he hasn't gone on as many missions as everyone else as he's very valuable. Despite that they sometimes need his explosives and technological genius on the field. He doesn't much like being on the field as extreme violence in real life a.k.a. being shot at and/or dying isn't his dream, goal or hobby. He can be a complete jerk at times and isn't very sensative when it comes to himself, but he'll jump to protect his family or his closest friends if something rather hurtful is said. J.T. is often laid-back and nonchalant with an I-don't-give-a-damn attitude. Although he can be bought, he cannot be bribed to betray his friends or obligations. He would never betray his friends for any sum; however, helping a criminal or cop or mobster, etc with reading an encripted file well that's another story. Despite the fact that he has morals they would seem extremely screwed up to someone in their right minds. J.T. also loves fire. He is a pyromaniach and anything from creating a small explosive to lighting a Big Gulp cup on fire and watching it melt excites him. He loves fireworks and the stars. He seems to know a lot about practically everything. He loves to read and has broadened his mind over the years in the CIA taking advantage of his position to learn anything he could from government secrets to pressure points.
Those closest to him have seen his compassionate side. How he loves kids and is amazing with them. To how he loves beauty. From a cute girls to Central Park to art he admires beauty greatly. They've seen how he can make other peoples problems his own and how he makes certain things personal. As if it were his own kid missing or his own father murdered. Every mission he goes on he has this false thought in his head that this might be his chance to meet his parents. To find out who they are or were. Despite the fact that he denies it, deep down J.T. really does want to meet his parents. He is extremely mad though he's good at hiding it. But he doesn't know or understant who to be angry at. He wants to be angry at the CIA for his childhood, but he doesn't know or think they knew anything about him. Needless to say he's illegally check every file in the CIA that could possibly have any reference to his parents but nothing has come up. He is angry at himself for what happened to his twin brother and he is angry at the CIA for turning him into a weapon and enslaving him. In truth sometimes he feels as if he's angry at the world. He's angry at his older brothers and sister for always refusing to tell him anything about his parents. Being part of the CIA though has taught him a thing or two though and one is how to hide his emotion and how to lie. Of course lying always came rather natural to him.
Friends: Honestly this subject could be few or many. People who are friends with him have to somewhat put up with. In some ways, even if you can't stand him, you might be surprised to find out that J.T. doesn't feel that way about you and actually cares for you. Despite all the flaws and negatives about J.T., deep down he is caring though and will do what he must to help his friends even if he can be a pain in the neck or a thorn in their sides often.
Enemies: THis could also fall under few or many. He can be a complete obnoxious, jerk a lot on the outside so you'd really have to get into him to really know what he's like beneath his outer shell. He also can sometimes be insensative and not very serious. His constant joking attitude and laziness could be a problem towards others.
Frenemies: This is probably the one with the most being he's sort of a lovable, annoying, goofball who can be a complete obnoxious jerk.
Relationships: J.T. honestly does dream of one day falling in love, getting married, havign a kid, the whole nine. He's also not really afraid to admit it either. He dreams of one day not having to have to be some type of tool for the CIA, Ex-CIA, Fordham or anyone else. I could see him really being attracted to any type. Mysterious and drawn back girls could interest him and give him the thrill of the chase, a sporty girl would be good being he loves sports and extreme sports and is the Cubs number one fan. A grease monkey sort of girl or techy girl could also work being that they would have a lot in common. Honestly there are infinite options and scenarios here.
